I went in with high blood pressure the day before my due date.
Labour wasn't naturally starting for me, so I was induced twice. But nothing was happening.
Once I was brought down to the delivery suite, they broke my waters, and I only dilated 1cm.
During this time I got a migraine and baby was getting distressed. I needed an emergency c-section.
I lost a lot of blood and afterwards, I got a clot. So I had to stay on hospital for a couple more nights for further observation.
Once I got home my headaches started up again and my blood pressure began to rise high again.
I ended up back in for a further couple of nights
I couldn't fault anyone. Every member of team was fantastic. They all gave me their time and I could tell each one of them was passionate about their job and genuinely cared for the health of my baby and I.
Big thank you to all the midwives, maternity team and doctors. Look forward to seeing you all again in the future
