From moment I checked in at main reception. The nursing staff, auxiliaries, doctors, anaesthetist, surgeon. Every single person I dealt with was exemplary. They're friendly, professional, caring manner. Whole procedure was explained. The reasons, the risks.
From carrying out initial tests, checking was ready for operation. Being taken through, operated on. Process after surgery, the care was all outstanding. Made to feel at ease throughout process, when obviously a nervous time and experience ahead.
Too many times you hear the NHS being criticised, in my opinion. Often unfairly. Every single person was a credit to the profession. The way and manner they did their job, the manner in which they all made me, the patient feel at ease.
To mention some but not all.
Tom(nurse), Alexandra (nurse), Michaela (nurse) and Willie (auxiliary).
The full theatre and surgery team.
Special thanks to you all.
My operation was carried out at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Glasgow Day Admission Unit.
Home and relaxing now. Successful procedure.
Thank you to everyone. And reminding me why I have always been a fan of the NHS. To provide a service like that to everyone. The service does not get the credit and funding it deserves and needs.
However, the staff continue to provide it, do a very professional job in a very friendly, positive manner. Despite at times, being under extreme pressure.
My thanks once again to everyone involved in my care recently.
Hope you get to find out and hear this well deserved and positive feedback.
Wishing everyone. Best wishes for future.
