"I felt I was in great hands"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / General surgery Grantham & District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I had femoral decompression surgery. Right from the start, staff were friendly, introducing themselves to make me feel welcome. All staff were considerate, friendly, professional and compassionate. I feel well taken care of and ready to go home with all the information I need to recuperate. The staff worked well as a team, knowing what checks had been done and still needed to be done. Even the student nurse came across as friendly and observant. The surgeon really made me feel cared about and I felt I was in great hands

Dear Ben172

Thank you so much for your feedback which will be such a morale boost for the staff.

They work so hard to give the highest quality of care to our patients and reading your experience, proves we are getting it right.

I hope you are recovering well

Kr

Julie
