"Excellent service, caring manner, attention to detail"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus / Pain Management

(as the patient),

It is difficult to isolate a single incident but Jennie, Felicity, Lucy, Sian, Tracey and Wajeeha stand out immediately as having real patient insight e.g. suggesting the removal of my syringe driver (which allowed much more freedom of movement) to be replaced by oral morphine (far easier to take).

Also the flexibility of all these nurses in reading my blood pressure to facilitate the draining of my abdomen each day. They are all clearly observing me the whole time and acting as much on the insights they gain, suggesting a real connection with their patient.

I could not be better served!

Thank you Lili for sharing this excellent feedback. We will be sure to share this with the pain team so that Jennie, Felicity, Lucy, Sian, Tracey and Wajeeha will see what you had to say and know that you appreciate their care.

We are delighted you are having a good experience despite such difficult ongoing treatment thanks to this team.

Kind regards

Andrew, Patient Experience Officer
