"Treatment received"

About: Wallacetown Health Centre / Tayside Continence Advisory & Treatment Service - Dundee

(as the patient),

I was very anxious and worried, on the point of tears when I arrived for my first appointment, but I needn't have worried. Within five minutes Sam (nurse) soon put me at ease. She was wonderful, a real Florence Nightingale.  Sam was really down to earth, patient, reassuring and informative! (I learned about how the bladder and bowel work.) The Service needs folk like Sam. Previously I had felt like I was losing my mind and getting things out of proportion. Sam's calm approach helped me to understand what was going on, she made me feel normal and valued. I'm so glad I got the courage to go. Thank you Sam.
