"Sickness during pregnancy"

About: Maternity care / Antenatal and Postnatal (Ward 38)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to this ward in the evening last month. During my time I did not see any nurse until I buzzed for paracetamol the next morning. I was dead anxious about what was happening and then I was introduced to a midwife called Nicole who was absolutely brilliant! She spoke to me and even let me hear the babies heartbeat. She made my anxiousness ease and just made the experience so much better for myself. I would ask for sickness tablets or something to eat/drink and she was very quick at doing this. What a credit to the ward! Thank you Nicole :)

Dear authenticsp38,

Thank you for providing feedback on your recent admission. I will ensure it is shared with the teams, especially Nicole who you have named. Your feedback will be really appreciated. I hope you are feeling better, we wish you well for the remainder of your pregnancy. Best wishes Claire Massey (Lead Midwife)
