"My son undergoing a general anaesthetic"

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Day surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

My 2-year-old son had a laceration to his lip and it was decided by the team that he needed to have it cleaned and stitched under a general anaesthetic. The team (particularly Josh in anaesthetics) were so patient and explained the whole process before and throughout. They were amazing with my son and myself during what was a stressful time and I cannot thank them enough for their care.

Hi moonbm67

Thank you taking your time to leave such fantastic feedback regarding your recent stay. It is always a stressful time bringing your child to hospital and I'm pleased that your emergency stay went as smoothly as possible. I will ensure your feedback is distributed to the staff, especially Josh, and hope your son is now recovering well at home.

Kind regards

Suzanne Pearson
