"The care was first class"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

Had a nasty fall on arrival in Edinburgh for a 3 day visit. Suffered a deep laceration to my left hand and a lot of bruising. Attended minor injuries and had as good an experience as you can have after such an unpleasant incident.

The care was first class. I was seen promptly and assessed, my wound was cleaned, x-rayed and sutured and I was checked for tetanus protection with a simple finger prick blood test.

I could not have asked for better care (special mention to ANP Leon). I am a recently retired sister from another NHS trust and it makes me very happy to be able to give an outstanding review of NHS care.

Thank you for taking the time to send such lovely feedback and I will share this with Leon one of our dedicated ENPs and the Minor Injuries Unit. I hope your hand is recovering well and you managed to enjoy the rest of your trip.

Kind regards

Ray
