"Our father was cared for beautifully"

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

Our father due to advancing age and multiple co-morbidities passed away on Durbin ward - he was in his 90s.

From the beginning he was cared for beautifully, every member of staff, whatever grade or position in the team, treated him and ourselves with respect and kindness and dignity.

He passed peacefully with his family with him, and we could not have asked for more, we were informed at every stage which will help with everyone’s grieving process.

Our grateful thanks goes to all.
