"Gives up on people"

About: East Glade Centre Highly Specialist Services / Sheffield Eating Disorder Service (SEDS)

(as a service user),

I have been under Eastglade since I was a teenager, I am now in my 30s. In this time Eastglade have given up on helping me more times than any service should, which has resulted in me having no support or help from anyone and ended up in hospital a lot. When I have reviews in hospitals, Eastglade comes, acts really caring, that they want to help and support me. This only lasts a short time then when I leave hospital, it all stops and I'm abandoned by them again. It feels live I'm blackmailed when I'm told that I can't get help until I take certain actions.

It seems like they don't care, even if I'm really struggling which I am now, but still they just don't care.

I would like to understand more about your experience if you feel that would be helpful and discuss this further with you.
