"Extended inpatient stay at hospital"

I was admitted to 4B in Raigmore hospital to get looked over as my face was severely swollen due to a sinus infection. I was then told I had to stay the night to receive intravenous antibiotics. I am a young woman who has no significant medical history so this situation was scary for me. I had been suffering from headaches for a week at that point and my face had been swelling for three days prior to my admission. 

All staff members immediately made me feel welcome and eased my stress about being in hospital. During my second day in the hospital I was told I had to stay another night because the swelling continued to spread and I had to get a head CT. I was nervous about this but the nurse I had that day (Leah) and the ward manager (Sarah) were very supportive. All of the staff were so friendly and it made this nerve-wrecking time so much easier.
