I called the operator to be connected to Wandle ward 3 at 17:30 one day last week. You could hear the person was eating as they responded to my call. They then proceeded to give me the ward's contact number which rang out for more than 6 minutes. I was desperate to know how a close family member was getting on and also because he was due to be discharged from the hospital but no one from Wandle ward 3 answered the telephone. So disappointed with this hospital, it's appalling.
