"Outstanding A&E Care"

I arrived in considerable pain following a heavy fall onto my shoulder. I arrived and booked in at the triage area 13:40, took my form and lodged it with the receptionist and was told to take a seat in a very full waiting room. Within 5 minutes I was called through and the shoulder examined, X-rayed, put into a sling and pain relief provided. I was given an appointment at orthopaedics. Back home by 15:00hrs. Our NHS at their finest but as a Nurse Practitioner said I was both an Accident and Emergency.
