"Excellent care"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Trauma Ward

(as a carer),

My father was admitted with several fractures to his foot following an accident. Once he was admitted to trauma ward his superb care was exceptional.

The staff couldn't do enough for him. They were knowledgeable and all aspects of his care were transparent and relayed to him in language he was able to understand. Beyond this they were so pleasant, kept him company and really buoyed his mood everyday with their fun and level of attentiveness. I couldn't recommend the staff on this ward highly enough. From cleaners, tea people, nurses, physios, and the surgeon who operated on my father their level of professionalism and attentiveness was outstanding.

Hello,

My name is Rachel and I am the Ward Sister on the Trauma Ward. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We strive to ensure we provide the best care for our patients so to read your Fathers care was superb and exceptional is extremely heart warming and reassuring.

The staff will be thrilled to read your kind words and I will share the feedback with them all. I know they will be delighted to have their hard work recognised and appreciated. We understand being in hospital can be a stressful time for patients and families so to know that the staff communicated well with your Father and kept up his spirits is wonderful.

I wish your Father well and a speedy recovery.

Best wishes,

Rachel
