My experience of the Community Stroke Team has been brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!

I can't explain how much their involvement in my therapy after my stroke has given me hope that I can improve and start to be more independant.

I so look forward to visits from the team, Gavin has really encouraged me to push myself and increased my confidence in my mobility. Julie has visited regularly and is so lovely, not only to practise my exercises and mobility with her, but also feel she really takes an interest in me as person. We are both cat lovers and following the progress of her 'stray' cat and 6 kittens that followed, it has made every visit not just professional but a story to be continued.

I am sad I can't keep in touch with the team that has given me so much hope and support going forward.
