"Made his wishes happen"

About: Glenrothes Hospital / Rehabilitation & Recovery

(as a relative),

As a family, we cannot thank all staff in ward 2 at Glenrothes enough for the care, love and attention they gave our grandad/dad during his few admissions over the last year, each time treating him like one of their own.

His wishes were to go home to his own comforts and the staff made that happen. He sadly passed away, peacefully at home surrounded by his family late July. We thank the staff again for making his wishes happen, the exceptional care and love they give to all patients.

Dear GC92,

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely message about the care your grandad/dad received in Ward 2 at Glenrothes Hospital.

We are deeply honoured to have been part of his journey and are truly touched by your kind words. It means a great deal to the team to know that their care, compassion, and dedication made a difference during his admissions and in helping to fulfil his final wishes.

We’re so glad he was able to be at home, surrounded by his loved ones, and we send our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Warmest regards

Michelle Blacklock
