I want to give recognition to the midwives and doctors that dealt with my care from the day my induction was started with the balloon, through to having a c section, to birth of my daughter. The midwives and doctors were absolutely amazing and supportive throughout my labour, I can’t thank them enough.
The thing that I think really needs to be looked at is the amount of staff available. I noticed on the night my daughter was born that there was limited staff and I could tell this caused a strain on the midwives on shift, however the care provided was not hindered as you can tell these amazing people love their jobs.
For the work these amazing people do more support should be given. The staff is limited, but yet the care I received was next to none and this just shows how much these people love their jobs, and I think it is only fair to provide them with the support that is required. More support should be given and I can can't say this enough.
"Amazing people but they need more support"
