"Friendly and welcoming staff"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Endoscopy

(as the patient),

Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. They did an excellent job of reducing anxiety around the procedure. Anvya & Scott were particularly helpful and supportive. The staff in the endoscopy theatre were also very supportive and the endoscopist talked me through what was on the screen. Not a pleasant experience but made so much better because of the staff.

Dear Nanny1

Thank you for taking time to feedback about your experience, whilst here in Endoscopy at Queen Margaret. Especially on how the staff done their very best to reduce your anxiety levels by keeping you informed every step of the way.

Also how all the staff were so supportive, especially as you mentioned endoscopy is an invasive procedure, and can be very daunting especially if it is your first time round. Given that support both on the ward and in theatre makes all the difference. It certainly makes you feel that your are in professional hands and were given dignity and respect throughout.

I will take great delight on passing on your very kind comments especially to those you have mention. I hope you have recovered well

Kindest regards

Ann Walker
