"Monthly infusion"

About: Perth Royal Infirmary / Clinical Investigations Unit

(as a service user),

At my very first appointment I was nervous and anxious, but all the nurses at the Investigation Unit were incredibly kind, professional, and made me feel completely at home. Now, my monthly appointment has actually become something I look forward to, because I know I am going into such a welcoming environment. The nurses are not only extremely attentive to my needs, but also genuinely caring—like friends. They always offer me something to eat or drink right away, making me feel as if I were in a grand hotel rather than in a hospital.

The only downside, unfortunately, is the administrative side, which is not handled by the nurses but by the office. They never answer the phone and the communication is very poor. This part of the service really needs improvement, because as it is now, it feels almost useless.

Overall, the nurses make the experience outstanding, and I truly appreciate the warmth and professionalism they show every time.
