"Ongoing care"

About: Sett Valley Medical Centre Stepping Hill Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have been through A&E 3 times and been admitted to hospital twice this year having been very poorly due to side effects of a medication.

My GP practice has been amazing. They are so caring and thorough that no stone has been left unturned with the investigations carried out. Dr. Keogh and Dr. Karimi at Sett Valley medical centre have been so supportive and reassuring and I couldn't be more grateful.

Also, the care I received at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport, was absolutely brilliant.  The staff were lovely and super helpful and everywhere was very clean. I had confidence that I was receiving the best care.

Good morning,

Thank you for taking the time to feedback about the care you received in the Emergency Department at Stepping Hill hospital. It was so nice to read how the care you received was caring, compassionate and efficient. The department can get extremely busy at times, but it is important to maintain personalised care like in this instance.

It is also lovely to see how well supported you were by your GP practice which is so important when looking for answers regarding health issues.

I have shared your post with the department leads who will share with the staff team in their huddle meeting as they will appreciate hearing this. This feedback will also be shared in our Patient Experience reports.

Kind regards,

Aoife Isherwood
