"Outstanding service"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Accident & Emergency Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Plastic Surgery & Burns (wards 45, 47, 48 & 49)

(as the patient),

Outstanding service from ward 47 specifically Dr Wok. I contacted ward 47 due to concerns in relation to my surgical wound being infected. I received a prompt response and was asked to attend A&E for bloods to be taken and swabs.

I attended A&E and was met by Dr Wok who in my opinion went above and beyond to help on what was clearly a busy night at the hospital. I received IV antibiotics and was able to return home within 1 hours with a follow up appointment being made the next day with outpatients.

I can’t thanks the staff enough for their help and timely response which would have potentially stopped me becoming unwell.
