I just want to thank all the staff on the children's surgical unit at DRI for tooth extraction. He is 4 years old and has been very nervous about this since we got the appointment date. The care my son received was amazing from getting there to going home.
The nurses and health care assistants had so much patience with my son, who was very distressed after the procedure. Luke (HCA) is a credit to the children's department and the NHS. He went above and beyond to make the experience the best it could be. My little boy is thrilled with the work that Luke did on his teddy 🧸. A stressful experience made easier by an amazing team.
