"Care for my dad"

About: Enhanced Care / Acute Care at Home

(as a relative),

My dad recently required the services of the Acute Care at Home Team (Armagh & Dungannon area). As a nurse myself, I was aware of the team and their role, but to experience their services as a patient's relative- I have to say, I was blown away by the excellent standard of care they provide.

Each member of staff (nurses; doctors; physiotherapist; speech & language nurse; Health care Assistant) were competent, professional, empathetic and compassionate in all aspects of their care. Sadly, my dad passed away despite all their loving care, but it will forever be a source of comfort, to know he was cared for by such wonderful people who are a credit to their professions.

I think if every department in the NHS was run like this team we would have a health service second to none! - Simply Excellent! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts

Hi AUGUST25,

Many thanks for taking the time to leave such positive feedback.

I will be sure to share this with the entire team.

I am very reassured to hear that the team were both professional and compassionate as we expect no less for all of our patients. It was an honour for the team to treat your dad and may he rest in peace.

Thanks again for your kind words,

Yvonne.
