Have tried to see a Dr 3 times in as many months but not a chance. Once for chest infection, told me over the phone it wasn't. I know when I'm ill. Then 2 weeks ago again couldn't see me as they were full. Went to A&E and got kept in as my infection rating was sky high. York hospital was brilliant. Then today rang because I have a private infection because of all the very strong antibiotics I have received this last 2 weeks. Told go to chemist and buy stuff. Wouldn't accept when told already bought said product at the cost of 20 pounds and wasn't working. Was told they won't prescribe anything. So said very politely thank you for nothing and put the phone down. By the way I'm classed as urgent care. If I'm urgent god help the rest.

We are pleased to hear that when you attended York Hospital, our team was able to provide the care and treatment you needed. Your kind words about the hospital staff are much appreciated, and we will make sure your feedback is shared with the team.

Please note that Priory Medical Group is not part of our Trust and operates separately from the hospital. We would encourage you to follow up your concerns directly with the GP practice.
