"Undoubtedly saved my life"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I really just want to say the biggest thank you in the world to my surgeon/consultant Mr Couper. Mr Couper operated on me end of July

I had a Oesophageetomu this undoubtedly saved my life and me and my gf can now look forward to a better future even though I have to have more chemotherapy

I am blessed to be classed as cancer free ,words really cannot express our gratitude enough

Dear George the sloth,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your story and gratitude. It is so encouraging to hear how beneficial the Oesophageetomu operation was, and I am delighted to hear how much of a difference it has made.

I have shared your story with the team and Mr Couper, he was so touched by your feedback.

I wish you all the best in your ongoing recovery,

Best wishes,

Mariska.

I am pleased to hear your recent surgery has had such a positive impact on your life, and it is fantastic to hear you have a new furry friend to aid your recovery at home, I will make sure Mr Couper knows you have named your cocker spaniel after him.

best wishes

Kim Newton
