"Mother fall and care"

About: Victoria Hospital / Accident & Emergency Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as a relative),

My mum had a fall recently at Glenrothes town centre

Resulting in her landing on her face which caused her to break her nose and bruising to her face

My mother wanted to acknowledge the great care she received not only at A and E but also ENT clinic for post assessment and treatment

The doctor at ENT has repaired her nose to the best possible at this time and she requires no further treatment

Staff in  a and E and ENT have treated with both  dignity and compassion

Hello

Thank you so much for sharing your mother’s experience following her recent fall in Glenrothes town centre. I’m very sorry to hear about her injury—it must have been a distressing time for both of you.

It’s heartening to know that the care she received at both A&E and the ENT clinic was delivered with dignity and compassion. I’m glad to hear that her treatment was successful and that she now requires no further intervention.

Your kind words will mean a great deal to the staff involved in her care. I’ll make sure your feedback is shared with the teams in A&E and ENT—they’ll be encouraged to know the positive impact they had during a difficult time.

Wishing your mum a continued recovery and good health.

Best wishes

Lisa
