"Feeling ill for no apparent reason"

About: New Southgate Surgery Pinderfields General Hospital / Endocrinology

(as the patient),

I felt sick and tired all the time but didn't know why. My GP was very kind and didn't fob me off but arranged for me to have lots of tests and discovered I had high calcium levels due to a lesion on my parathyroid.

I was worried but pleased there was a reason for my symptoms and that it could be addressed and I would eventually feel better.

My GP was very supportive throughout and I had surgery to correct the problem.

The follow up care at Mid-Yorks (Pinderfields) has been first rate.

I now feel fantastic!

This was a big contrast to how I was treated at a previous surgery when symptoms were ignored and I became very ill so I am so grateful for the care I have received from New Southgate Surgery.
