:( before visit, :| during visit, and :) happy and laughing when Nurse leaves.
The community nurses were excellent. They provided prompt care when it was needed and knowing they were coming to help. Helped everyone relax - my mum, the carers, and our family. We had confidence in their skills.
They were also patient, kind, responded to banter and laughter with my mum, and saw and respected the whole person not just the part that needed cream or a dressing.
Tracey was particularly good at this. She also gave attention and encouragement to the family, which was much appreciated.
Nearer the end when we needed assistance in the wee hours, the nurses were again prompt, caring and understanding of the situation.
Overall, I would say the community nurse service is outstanding.
It is also very efficient in how it provides the services to the patient.
