About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care

(as a service user),

I have an experience of working with health service for over 40 years, I am an in patient at acute stroke ward. I am very pleased with the doctors and nurses. I am very confident in the ward, nurses care per their patient is excellent, they were so kindly looking after me on a busy ward. If I have to come back in  (I don't want to) I would only like to come back to this ward. Sister and staff nurses, Emma, Nana, Lianna, Andy, Isil, Kevin, Doctor Whitehead was so great.

I hope the management know how hard going in stroke ward. Ward is very clean, best experience on my life and as a retired nurse I am glad to be here. I felt safe and I feel more confident returning home soon. 

Thank you so much for all your effort. Ward staff are wonderful and I wish I would be able to work with them at stroke unit. Thank you.

With my apologies for the length of time it has taken me to reply to you, I would like thank you for taking the time and trouble to share this lovely feedback about the care provided by the Stroke Team within University Hospital Crosshouse.

I sorry to hear that you required admission to hospital following a stroke. This must have been a scary and anxious time for you.

I am glad to hear that our staff were able to provide you with such reassuring, kind and professional care. It's also reassuring to know that, as a retired nurse, you felt so safe and confident in the support that you received.

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients, and it will be my pleasure to share your kind comments with the wider Team and with all of the staff you have mentioned by name. I know they will all be delighted to receive this feedback and it will be really encouraging for them to know that you felt so well supported by them.
