I was given a warm and humorous welcome by the staff when I was admitted to ward 62 for surgery on February 5th 2014,they certainly made me feel happy and at ease. Each and every member of staff that I came in contact with whether they were cleaning the ward, making cups of tea or whether they were addressing your health issues were very polite ,caring and considerate, nothing was ever too much trouble. I observed the lengths these staff go to, ensuring the ward areas (floors - mopped & polished, beds - frame and mattress sanitised, bedside cabinets sanitised and wash areas) are scrupulously cleaned Hospital food is tasty and consists of a pleasing three course meal with a variety of options, including vegetarian. For the main meals there is a good choice of accompaniments and you can select from three different portion sizes. In a nutshell,I experienced excellent staff attitude ,a clean and comfortable environment and good food .In my view it was a first class stay - what more could one ever wish for ! Thanks a million to you all
