"I did not expect very much to happen. But was I wrong!"

About: Galloway Community Hospital / Speech and Language Therapy

(as a service user),

I did not expect very much to happen. But was I wrong! This very nice girl, her name is Emily and she got me talking. Explained a lot of things I had not even thought about. Got a shock when I saw the video of me talking. An old lady stared back at me, with a harsh voice. This made me listen even more than before. Could Emily help me. I don't know if I took it all in. But I know I am going to try very hard. She inspired me. Not only with tips regarding excess saliva, which upsets me, but also with walking and thinking before I say anything. I can only hope I can improve and I am not to old. I want to thank all of you for wanting to help. Thank you for all the help I am getting.

Good morning Rachel86,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I was so pleased to learn that Emily has been able to help to get you talking again. It is heartening to know that not only has she has also been able to explain things, but has also given you inspiration, at what I'm sure must have been a very difficult time for you.

I will be sure to pass on your kind and appreciative words to Emily and all the Team, and I wish you continued good health and wellness in your recovery.

Kind regards

Sara
