"Birth of our daughter"

About: Maternity care / Ward 45 ( antenatal) Maternity care / Ward 46 (post-natal) Maternity care / Ward 48 (labour ward) Western Health & Social Care Trust / Community Midwifery Services

(as the patient),

I was induced at Altnagelvin Hospital, our baby girl was born two days later, and we got home two days after that.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care we received during our time in the Antenatal, birthing suite and postnatal wards. Every midwife, doctor and support staff we encountered were professional but compassionate and nothing was a bother to them. During such a vulnerable time in my life, I felt listened to and supported throughout the entire process.

We will forever be grateful for the care and support we received. A special thank you to Joanne, Alice and Dr. Nala who looked after us in the delivery suite. Kate, Jennie, Poppy, Belinda, Hollie in Antenatal and Lynda and Dr. Michael in Postnatal.
