About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as a service user),

I was admitted to the Royal Victoria hospital in Belfast in March 2024 with optic neuritis. For more than a year after this I was under the care of Dr Gupta as an outpatient.

I cannot fault the care I received under Dr.Gupta. This man genuinely cares for his patients. Dr. Gupta knew something else was at play with my condition and pushed for neurologists to see me.

I was subsequently diagnosed with MS at the age of 25. Dr.Gupta was the only professional that listened to me and believed what I was saying. I will always be grateful to him. Without Dr. Gupta, I believe I would still trying to find answers regarding my health.
