"Ongoing Physiotherapy after knee replacement complications"

About: Physical Disability Services / Community Team – Armagh and Dungannon

(as a service user),

After my initial knee replacement surgery I received physiotherapy at Mullinure Hospital. Unfortunately, due to my MS, my knee started to click backwards and so I was scheduled for a revision when a wedge was placed to prevent this happening again. Unfortunately, again, my knee clicked backwards ( no fault of orthopaedics - just the MS).

Throughout my journey I have been superbly looked after and supported by the physiotherapy team in Mullinure.  I really couldn’t speak highly enough of them all. A special thank you to Darrion for all the home visits and reassurance and thanks also to Daniel, Rebecca and Dillon.

All your help and encouragement has been greatly appreciated and I am now content with my custom made brace.
