I have been in Cloughreagh House for 6 months. My stay was extended as I was waiting on a POC to go home. I was beginning to think I would never get home and this was getting me down but thankfully I am leaving with a POC. However when I agreed to go home I wasn’t aware that the POC was only short term and will only last for approx. 4 weeks. I am now worried that this will not be enough and I may not manage without help.
I have been very happy here in Cloughreagh House, the carers and medical staff couldn’t be nicer. Everyone is so kind and caring, I even get my milky coffee, and the staff go over and beyond the call of duty.
The physio team has supported me well, they have given good advice and have helped me make good progress.
I also required support from District Nursing and they were also very attentive to me.
Thank you to everyone in Cloughreagh House, you have all contributed to making my stay here enjoyable and I will miss the friendship and companionship when I go home.
"Everyone is so kind and caring"
