About: The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Gynaecology

I was admitted recently for gynaecology surgery. From admission to theatre care to ward 56 for aftercare the care and support was outstanding.

Every single member of staff I was lucky enough to meet during my stay were knowledgeable and supportive, putting me at ease every step of the way. They had patience in abundance and nothing was too much bother for them.

The sister in the ward should be very proud of her team. I was initially very anxious about my procedure but anxiety lessened throughout my 5 day stay. I especially loved the nurse's dealing with what were sensitive issues with dignity and respect along with humour.

Having been in different hospitals to date, I can honestly say that ward 56 staff went above and beyond in there care provision. I would like to mention Taylor and Emma who both were outstanding and enjoyed their humour. Thanks again for making my stay a very positive experience and seamless recovery. Future patients should be reassured that they will receive 5 star care

We pride ourselves on providing care with dignity, respect, and compassion, so I am especially pleased to hear this reflected in your experience.

Julie, our Senior Charge Nurse, and I are extremely proud of our staff, and feedback like yours truly means a great deal to them.
