My experience was a positive one. I had a fragment of glass in my foot, from an injury mid August. The wound had closed up leaving the glass trapped inside.
After having an earlier x-ray on a week later to verify there was glass, I was to come back to the hospital or have this removed, I attend for the removal on 4 days later in late Aug, this was completed by Sammy at the minors unit in a very efficient and careful manner. Sammy then arranged a follow up x-ray to make sure no fragments were remaining before closing the wound and prescribing me antibiotics before leaving. I’d like to thank Sammy and the wider Minor Injury team for being so efficient and extremely helpful in resolving this for me.
