"All the staff are friendly and approachable"

(as the patient),

I had a partial thyroidectomy late August and was taken to ward 4B for an overnight stay. I was looked after really well. I particularly enjoyed that first cup of tea after surgery. All the staff are friendly and approachable I felt safe and comfortable. Despite it being very warm on the ward the staff went out of their way to meet all the patients in my bays needs. I really appreciate everything they did for me.

That first cup of tea after surgery is a small but very important part of your post operative recovery, and we’re glad it brought you comfort.

Our team works hard to create a supportive and welcoming environment, even when the ward is busy or the temperature rises! I’m proud of how our staff go the extra mile to meet each patient’s needs, and your feedback is a lovely reminder of why we do what we do.
