"So very grateful for the care I received"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Day Surgery

(as the patient),

Attend for breast cancer surgery.

Having never been in this situation before, I was obviously anxious, but I need not to have worried!!

From the moment I arrived at the day surgery ward at Wishaw all staff were exceptionally caring. I was reassured, comforted and everything was explained to me fully. 

I did have an unexpected additional nights stay and again everything was explained to me. 

I would like to thank all(!) staff for the treatment and care I received, everyone worked as part of a team and I am so very grateful for the care I received.

It can be a very worrying time attending hospital so I am so pleased to read that you felt well cared for, reassured and supported throughout.
