"My recovery from bacterial meningitis, encephalitis and sepsis"

About: Countywide Community Care Service Delivery Unit / Integrated Neurology Service

(as a service user),

After seven months in hospital I came home to complete my recovery. Following an additional stay in the timberdine community hospital I had a more supportive package of care put in place, including a neuro physio to help with overcoming some neurological issues that were hampering my mobility and recovery.

Sophie was a great support to me offering ideas for exercises I could do on my own to support with brain development and others I could do with both her and my carers. Sophie has really helped me make significant progress and improvements both in confidence and mobility.

Thanks so much Kittyscarlett for taking the time to give this feedback.

It sounds like you have had a really challenging time with the conditions you have been recovering from, so it is lovely to read that you are improving.

It is great to read that your confidence has grown as well as your mobility progressing, and that Sophie has helped you with this. I have shared this feedback with her so she is aware. It is so great for clinicians to know the positive impacts they have had as we all want to support patients on their journey.

I want to wish you all the very best for your ongoing rehabilitation and thanks again for sharing this.
