"Staff were so supportive and helpful"

About: Crawley Hospital / Urology East Surrey Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

I had a blood test one Monday and my GP phoned me 6:30pm the next day to say my PSA was high(12) and got me an out patients appointment for Wednesday resulting in an interview with specialist nurse and then an MRI scan that Friday. That was inconclusive so they got me a biopsy for prostate cancer arranged for the following week. The results came back negative but I would like to say I was astounded by the speed of action and the efficiency and professionalism of the staff. Even the egg sandwich after my biopsy was pretty good.  Obviously an anxious time for me but staff were so supportive and helpful, I cannot thank Crawley & East Surrey Hospital enough.

Dear HorshamMan,

Thank you for telling us about your experience at both Crawley and East Surrey Hospital. I am so pleased to read that after the speedy appointments and treatment, the results were negative.

I wish you all the best and thank you again, take care,
