"Visit to dermatology"

About: Belfast City Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I visited in August and found car parking easily on 1st floor of block beside main hospital. Clear directions to Wing D outpatients for Dr Clements appt clinic re: lump behind my ear. Receptionist very pleasant and clear and within a few minutes was seen by Dr Nicol (and briefly Dr Clements). He very quickly diagnosed problem and also advised on other issues around my face. He described a plan of treatment beginning with two biopsies behind my ear on one on my nose.

After a short wait Nurse Inga assisted by Beata completed the biopsies very efficiently and with care ensuring any pain was kept to a minimum and stitched up the wounds. They then gave me clear instructions on how to arrange for removal of the bandages and stitches and after care of the wounds.

The whole process took about one and a half hours and I could not have asked for a better experience.
