"Bolton Diabetic Centre"

I was promised a face-2-face appointment with a consultant by July 2024. 13 months later still no appointment. Not been reviewed for almost 18-months by anyone, despite the diabetic neuropathy and retinopathy! I requested a face-2-face appointment as I had a lot going on in terms of difficult health and felt it was going to be easier in a appointment with someone than on the phone!

Clearly they didn’t like me saying that I didn’t want a telephone appointment with a consultant in May 2024, as due to my autism I would prefer to be seen in person (reasonable adjustment request The Equality Act 2010) 

To top this off, I even wrote to them in June 2025, chasing up my delayed appointment and I got no response! 

Took matters now into my own hands and put myself back on a GLP-1 privately which was stopped by a consultant in this clinic in 2019 due to gallstones, was told if my gallbladder was removed, I could resume the GLP-1, needless to say gallbladder and me are still very much attached! I was not prepared to continue with a dual multiple insulin regime without support from this team, so private GLP-1 prescription it is, me and my gallbladder will take the risk of pancreatitis!
