"Ear Nose and Throat Ward five"

About: Victoria Hospital / Ear, Nose & Throat

(as the patient),

I had a Growth on my thyroid and it was both removed. I was so very nervous. The theatre staff were brilliant. One particular Nurse was so kind with me and held my hand and kept me calm. I really appreciated this. The surgeon was Mr Yeo and his team. First class.

When I was recovering in the ward, all the staff were very kindly and looked after me perfectly. I can’t find any fault. The staff are amazing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind feedback. I’m truly delighted to hear that you felt so well cared for throughout your journey—from the theatre team to the ENT ward.

It’s wonderful to know that the theatre staff were brilliant and that one of the nurses was able to offer such comfort and reassurance by holding your hand to help keep you calm. Small gestures like these can make a big difference, and I’m so pleased they helped you feel supported.

I’m equally glad to hear that once you arrived on the ENT ward, our team continued to show kindness and provided excellent care. Your words mean a great deal to us, and I will take great pleasure in sharing your lovely comments with the entire team.

Wishing you all the very best for a smooth and speedy recovery.

Warm regards,
Lisa
