"Excellent person centred care"

I attended a Rheumatology Physiotherapy appt with Anna recently.

From the moment she greeted me I felt at ease, welcomed, and listened to.

Anna took great care to carry out a very thorough information/history taking consultation before assessing my physical concerns.

I felt completely looked after. Anna took the time to find out what was important to me, and what I had hoped to achieve from my appt. 

I felt listened to throughout, and I felt safe and comfortable.

Anna carried out what felt like a very comprehensive assessment, and took time to demonstrate the exercises that she recommended to me - and also, on request - she emailed me information re: the exercises later that day so I could use them at home/gum/further reading.

I have never experienced such a professional, caring, kind and genuinely person-centred appt. 

Anna is an asset to your department, and NHS Fife is lucky to have her!
