"An operation"

About: Paediatrics / Paediatric surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

Bringing my daughter in for a tonsil and adenoids removal was always a massive worry for us because of how poorly she’s been with it all.

From the moment we arrive in ambulatory care the nurses were amazing, from making sure my daughter was happy, to comforting me when she was being put to sleep. I really couldn’t thank them enough for all the care we received.

We were moved into children’s ward for an overnight stay. The nurses there were amazing. Constantly checking in and offering her toys.

Dear Jenpg33,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words following your daughter’s recent surgery. We understand how worrying it can be for a parent, and we’re truly glad to hear that our team helped make the experience a little easier for both of you.

It’s wonderful to know that the care provided in both Ambulatory Care and the Children’s Ward made a positive difference. Your appreciation means a great deal to our staff, and we’ll be sure to pass on your lovely feedback to the nurses involved—they’ll be delighted to hear it.

Wishing your daughter a smooth and speedy recovery.

Warm regards,
Pauline Hunter
