"The staff were all really friendly"

About: Outpatients Department / Physiotherapy Outpatients

(as the patient),

I fell in a shopping centre and fainted twice so an ambulance was called.  The paramedic recommended a Steady & Strong class to help my strength and balance which also resulted in having an a 2-3 hour appointment at Whiteabbey Hospital.

Nurse Ash took bloods and blood pressure standing and lying down.  At this appointment I also saw the physiotherapist, occupational therapist, pharmacist and a doctor.

I’m over 70 and found this appointment to be invaluable.  The staff were all really friendly, easy to talk to and explained exactly what would be happening during my visit.  I would recommend this clinic as so informative and all completed in one visit.
