"Haematology team"

I want to sing the praises of the haematology team.  In 2018, I was diagnosed with ITP, I came under the team at that point.  The care I have received in those 7 years from the consultants, nurse specialists, the haematology secretaries (one of the nicest team of secretarial staff ever) staff in the day unit when I had to be transfused, the expertise of the consultants finding medication for me as I did not respond to much of the medications.

From working with me during covid by telephone calls and allowing these calls to continue once restrictions ended, up to today, my day of discharge and remission.  I cannot thank everyone in haematology enough.

A special shout out to Doctor Edwards who has been there with me all the way throughout.  His kindness and compassion just oozes from his pores.  The NHS is going through difficult times, staff are burnt out, however, haematology team continue to plough through with great resilience and genuine compassion for the patients of forth valley who have the pleasure to be cared for by such a warm, empathetic and professional team.  From the bottom of my heart, thank you x
