I can’t speak highly enough about the continuity midwifery team at Craigavon area hospital! From my first scan at 12 weeks right up to discharge after birth, the care we have received has been unbelievable. Having a direct contact with your own midwife has been so reassuring and helpful throughout my whole pregnancy.
My midwife was Grace who was so caring and helpful, and always there to put my mind at ease when needed and just a text away at all times! Before our little girl was born I had a session of reflexology with the lovely Vicky, which was bliss!!Through my labour we had Briege, and student midwife Amy, and I honestly don’t think I could have done it without them, they were absolutely amazing and got me through it the whole way even when I wanted to give up. Myself, & my husband couldn’t be more thankful to the two of them! Meeting the rest of the team throughout appointments was great so you always had a familiar face at future appointments/home visits!The biggest thank you to the emerald team who don’t get recognised or paid enough for the level of care provided!!
