"Praise for a Nurse"

I had a Consultation that I wasn't happy with
Nothing was explained and the Doctor seemed to not have time for me
The Nurse I saw after the appointment went over and above to help me
She personally gave me a scan and even checked to see if I had an infection to save me going to the doctors
Plus she was very reassuring and explained things to me better than anyone had previously
This was at Nottingham City Hospital Urology department
The nurse was called Karen
She was brilliant

Thank you for this feedback. We are really sorry that the part of your appointment where you met with the clinician was not as it should have been for you, and that you felt things weren’t explained properly.
It is good to hear, however, that Karen was able to resolve your concerns straight away, and that you felt very confident and reassured in her care despite your earlier experience.
We are grateful to you for telling us your story and we will share this with the Urology department so they can see how Karen helped you and made you feel well looked after.
